Yaya Toure, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Vincent Enyeama are members of a three-man shortlist for the African Footballer of the Year award. Ivory Coast midfielder Toure started to be just the 2nd man to win the prestigious CAF award for a third consecutive year last January, and is now in line to win an unparalleled fourth straight award. Since 2002, he has played for the national team of Nigeria. He currently plays for Lille OSC who he signed for in June 2011. In June 2014, Enyeama was named in Nigeria’s squad for the 2014 FIFA World Cup.
